A new trailer and key visual for the upcoming Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome is Tough for Mobs have been released. The series will premiere on April 3, 2022, and will be directed by Kazuya Miura (DRAMAtical Murder) and Shinichi Fukumoto. Tanmoshi’s studio ENGI is animating. The trailer is available below:
Trapped in a Dating Sim anime new trailer
The video features Kashitaro Ito’s (Ending Song of Deca Dence) performance of the anime’s opening theme, “Silent Minority.” The ending song, “Selfish,” is performed by Riko Azuna (theme song for Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- Memory Snow). The following is the new key visual:
Takeo Otsuka (Leon Fou Bartfort), Kana Ichinose (Olivia), and Fairouz Ai are among the series’ main characters (Angelica Rapha Redgrave). As supporting characters, Ayane Sakura (Marie Fou Lafan), Kenichi Suzumura (Julius Rapha Holfort), Kosuke Toriumi (Jilk Fia Marmoria), Shinnosuke Tachibana (Brad Fou Field), Kouji Yusa (Chris Fia Arclight), and Nobuyuki Hiyama (Greg Fou Seberg) join the cast.
The anime is based on Yomu Mishima’s light novel series Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome is Tough for Mobs. Micro Magazine has been serialising it with Monda’s illustrations since May 2018, and there are currently 9 volumes available. In addition, Fujimi Shobo publishes a manga adaptation by Jun Shiosato in Monthly Dragon Age magazine. Seven Seas Entertainment has acquired the English rights to the light novel series:
