Best Manga of All Time According to Japanese TV Mega Survey

The Japanese manga industry is massive, with over 500+ different series categories. According to 2020 reports, the manga industry’s market worth is anticipated to be over 612 billion yen. However, with so much variety, it can be difficult to pick the best manga narrative out there.

However, this should no longer be an issue because a new study has revealed the answer to the question, “Which is the best manga of all time?” In Japan, a super poll was recently held in which fans chose the stories they thought were the best. Some of the results may surprise you!

More than 33,000 people mentioned One Piece as their first option and put it #1 on the list out of the 150,000 votes cast in the survey. The second prize went to the contemporary era series “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” by Koyoharu Gotouge. The series received a respectable total of roughly 29,000 votes.

Slam Dunk, a sports-based manga series, came in third place, and it appears that the basketball-inspired series is still popular in the Japanese audience. Detective Conan or Case Closed came in fourth place, with Dragon Ball and Attack on Titan coming in fifth and sixth place, respectively.

Masashi Kishimoto’s popular creation, Naruto ended in seventh place with Haikyuu next in line. And as for the last two spots, Fullmetal Alchemist and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure filled that with their presence in the top 10 manga of all time. Below is the list of the survey results:
