Every year, AnimeJapan, the biggest event on the anime calendar, polls anime and manga fans to see which manga they’d want to see become an anime adaptation over the next year, in the hopes that producers will pick up the series to be animated anytime soon! The 2022 results were revealed today, with some surprising (and not-so-surprising) inclusions!
Some of the biggest series that were on the list last year, such as SPY x FAMILY and Komi Can’t Communicate, luckily no longer feature on the list due to anime adaptations confirmed or even produced! However, despite their apparent popularity, series such as Solo Leveling and Senpai wa Otokonoko appear on the list again this year, among newcomers Kaiju No. 8 and Oshi no Ko.
